This wheelset has been posted twice on my local used bike facebook group. Do people have any insight into them? They look dated but not worn to my untrained eye. My bike is also a bit dated and a 10 speed rim break.

Since he's posted twice I would offer less than $300, what would be a good deal?
Also I am currently running latex inner tubes. I've heard conflicting reports on whether this would be fine or an issue with carbon wheels. I live in DC so some punch hills but no mountains to descend.

300 is too much. I’d rather buy Chinese carbon wheels that are probably lighter and just as cheap while being new.
Edit: And modern carbon wheel brake tracks tend to be better.
