  1. Considered buying these earlier in the year, but ended up going with the Rapha Pro Team Gravel Shoes instead.

I can’t get fully behind the look of the Quocs, personally.

  2. You don’t buy these shoes if you are going to bitch about color. White on gravel, are you for real? You buy them to love them and the joy of riding.
I have two pairs. One to go to work (weekend) and one to roam around (grand tour). Only regret is not going down one size. Still love them.

  3. I have the lace-up version of this shoe. I’ve been using them for a year now and they work really well for me. I used to have a pair of Rapha Explore shoes, but unfortunately they were very narrow at the front. I don’t have that problem with these shoes. However, if you have very wide feet and need Lake shoes, for example, then unfortunately these won’t be the right shoes for you. I would place them in the middle between Lake and Rapha. Actually perfect for normal-width feet.

The shoe has a decent level of stiffness, so you can also use it for more athletic activities. Unfortunately, I can’t say anything more specific about the fastening system, but if it matches the quality of the rest of the shoe, it’s certainly very good.

I have the non carbon plate ones and I rate them. Good for gravel MTB road and on the traimer. I’ll be replacing them with these when they eventually die. Only issue I’ve had is that the toe box upper folds on itself a bit when they’re tight. Doesn’t seem to effect performance so might be intentional but I’m not a fan of the way it looks
