Specialized Patfinder Pro – about 500-600km old running tubeless. Got a puncture yesterday on some bigger rocks going downhill. We managed to plug it with few bacons but wouldn’t inflate past 25 psi after which it kept leaking.
Puncture measures about 6x2mm. Is it reparable with patches or best to get a new one? If so, how to best repair it, if not, what tire to get?
I’m about 90kg and bike is about 10kg. Most riding is smooth gravel with the occasional rougher terrain.
Thanks

I personally wouldn’t want to deal with the pain of the next likely flat and would get a new tire.
I’ve patched up tires like that. I sanded the inside and then used a patch kit to reinforce it. Set it up tubeless and it’s still doing fine.
Sidewall repairs never hold. Get a new tyre.
Yes, by buying new one.
