Hi! I have found this Brompton for 520€. It seems like it is from the 90s, is it worth it? Seller says it has the 5 gear hub, which I know Brompton did not produce but I’d have to check in person. Also the red wheels seem to not be original . I’d personally like a 2 gear maximum as there are more lightweight.

The 5 speed igh is rare. If you are looking for a 2 speed, get a different bike and leave this for someone who wants this hub. The price seems fair.
The five speed hub is notoriously unreliable. It’s also old, probably close to 20 years old, and it has the old brakes and rims. €520 seems a lot for a bike of that age. I’d advise looking for a later model with newer parts.
