I recently bought this Fit Metal Eagle and I think this cable stay on the downtube was welded on incorrectly. Do I have a case for a manufacturing defect? Anyone else have a warranty claim with Fit, and how did that process go?

Contact them with these pics. With it being a new frame they’re pretty likely to help you. Never know till you try.
While I’d say it’s not, that’s for fit to decide. Sent photos as suggested see what they say, we’ve usually found for minor issues like this they’ll offer $50 in credit tops, but each case is on its own merits at the end of the day.
