this pilot is flying a glider which has no engine and you can tell he’s been doing it for a while you see gliders have no engine which means he has to fly it using the rising air to stay airborne which in my humble opinion is way scarier honestly I don’t feel like I could do it would you try it

Flying gliders is much easier than flying airplanes plus you keep flying as there's always wind and rising air. It's safer too due to no engine. No engine less failure

No engines means no fuel on board. An emergency wouldn’t be fatal, so yes, it’s probably safer than a regular airplane. I think all pilots should start their training on this type of aircraft, so they can learn how aerodynamics work and become familiar with their planes, because the basic concept is the same.
