So the bit where the handle normally catches into a the socket, the socket was a bit loose so when I went to push the handle into it, the ball type thing just snapped on me?
Can I glue it back on? Don’t fancy replacing the entire handle unit for this …

Not sure where the edit buttons gone on mobile so just want to add the socket being loose meant it wasn’t In the proper position to catch the ball attached to the handle*
You need to use RLY strong mix glue to fix that
Go to r/bikewrench. see what folks say there. Guessing it can be helicoiled or retapped. I don’t have direct experience with those solutions though
