My neighbor bought this obvious fake wheelset from Temu and gave them to me when he was moving out. I hate the look of them, I hate the big logos, I hate this chinesium shit, but still want to find a purpose for them.
They seem sturdy and pretty well made (but how could I know??). I just want to remove the decals and try to ride them (am I gonna die?).
It seems that I cannot peel one and one letter off, as they look to be under the top coat in some sort of way. Should I just mask the braking surface and spray paint the shit out of them?
Any suggestions appreciated

Hair dryer to warm it up and scrape with plastic tool to avoid damaging the rim.
Look for a vinyl set to go over the top, or use a vinyl sheet and cut it to size.
