I've very seldom ridden any bike in the snow so living in Sweden now will give me plenty of opportunities this winter I bet. I took the Bombtrack out this evening and boy was it fun. A bit sketchy at times but the frozen gravel was quick and I had enough grip to ride almost normally. Love how much more light there is with the reflectivity of snow!

Are you using studded tires?
u/Justcrusing416 & u/uramug1234 as an FYI they make studded bicycle tires to address the ice traction issue.
Then, I’m not sure I understand what the rear hoop on your rear wheel is for. it doesn’t look like it’s attached to the fender so?
