What the fuck, the guy who punched him off the bike, 46 years old, had a knife when the police turned up to arrest him and cut off the policeman’s ear. Net result: a suspended sentence!! He avoided jailtime because of his “previous good character and his responsibilities caring for his grandmother”.

He shouldn’t be punched. It’s kind of gross. But, nude bicycling is normal in our western world. In the US they often do it as events. But, it can happen sporadically, as a group. I’m not used to seeing solo nude bikers.

I’m a little surprised at the loud backlash from this group. World Naked Bike Ride has been a thing for years.
I wouldn’t personally want to do it, but do know a few people who have participated in protest and solidarity for cyclists who were run over in our city. They wrote things like “it’s not a body, it’s a life”, “stop killing us” and “keep 1.5m distance <–” on their backs. My personal favorite was “so NOW you see me?”.
Fully nude cyclists were the exception and not the rule. Many people wore swimsuits or shorts, or got creative with pasties, body paint, fanny packs and even their own hair to cover up.
As long as they’re riding, the worst you see is the full nudists’ butt cracks. Genitalia gets covered by the bike frame from the front and their legs from the sides.
I do understand why it makes people uncomfortable, of course, and think it’s kind of the point.
