hey guys, I hope that you can help me out here.
I’ve been looking to buy the Endurace AL for several months but they were always out of stock. So eventually I decided to get an alternative and picked up the Gen 1. Grail CF SL 7 (with the Hoverbar) last week with a good discount (1999€).
Well.. the Grail got delivered yesterday and I love it! I assembled it but didn’t manage to ride it yet due to constant rain. So it’s basically still brand new.
But now that the bike I really wanted is in stock I’m getting a bit of buyers remorse. If I just waited one more week I wouldn’t be in this pickle. I would’ve picked the Endurace over the Grail as I mostly ride on tarmac and I wanted to go fast too.
So now I’m debating if I should return the Grail and order the Endurace AL 7 instead. It would be slightly cheaper (1699€) and have the new Shimano 105 Groupset installed with 12 gears.
Or would it be more of a downgrade cause I managed to grab a carbon-bike at a really good price?
What do you guys think?

Difference between the 12 speed and 11 speed road drivetrains is neglectable. I would say it depends on what you expect from the bike. A trusty commuter? Endurace al. The grail is fast, light and comfortable. If you like the look of it it’s a great bike.
