  1. I've ridden with pro riders. The main difference is their power output at anaerobic threshold. I can put out pretty much the same power, but am way red lined. They maintain that level of effort for hours. It really is amazing.

  2. I believe the difference is determination. When I first started cycling, I couldn't get around the block without stopping & resting. Now I'll pedal non-stop for an hour up and down hills.

  3. I don't understand this obsession of amateurs to be what they can't. I have been a cyclist for many years and I have never tried something that was impossible for me. You have to go out to enjoy and not go crazy.

  4. And now take that young buck to work with you and see how he handles engineering work…
Most everybody is good at what they do for a living.

  5. the difference is that the "pro" doesnt care about traffic rules, hits all the red lights, and acts all around entitled in the traffic to have all the space for him self as he cycles in the middle of the road.
    the "amateur" does not.

  6. Il faut quand mĆŖme faire la diffĆ©rence entre un cycliste amateur et Wout Van Aert, coureur cycliste professionnel de la Jumbo Visma šŸ˜„šŸš“šŸ‡§šŸ‡Ŗ
