I started this build with just a bare frame aquired on marketplace, the guy bought it as a project but gave up as it was hard to fit standard components on it. Turned out to be a proper challenge for me too! I built it up with parts I had in my spare bin, I wanted to keep that classic vintage look. I made a whole video about the process where I show all the problems I run into (and there is a lot!).

It is a very nice ride, and the frame is very lightweight for a mixte frame!

  1. I’d maybe look into what you can do to get those shift cables off the fork. Will probably wear away the paint if left alone.

If we go by the description of the sub anything that’s not mountain biking or road biking is xbiking.

  3. Did you internally route that rear brake cable?!? This is sweet!! I’d love to see it with some 650s, and fatter tires.

  4. Definitely looks like a pretty high end frame! A lot of those details are way too nice for a run of the mill production bike.

I’d ride that! Wow seems like a project that took a lot of work. Nice job seeing it through to the end. what a special frame, too, I wasn’t expecting that internal cable routing
