Have you ridden it yet?
In my experience waxed chains need about 10km of riding to get to sounding silent from being fresh on.
Thats pretty normal after hot waxing the chain it takes about 5~10km for it to quiet down and the excess wax to flake of. Should be quiet after that.
Also – double check that the chain is routed properly through the rear derailleur tensioner. It’s super easy to miss the little tab between the wheels, which can make extra noise (and not be good for your chain in the long run).

It’s clean now so it’s going to be louder without a bunch of grime to deaden the sound of metal on metal.
