I was genuinely shocked at how comfortable this bike was. Night and day in terms of ride quality coming from an already quite comfy Salsa Warbird with 45s. It also holds high speed with significantly less effort—no surprises there. It just sails along at 20+ mph.
These 42 slicks feel like the perfect tire if you ride mostly road/urban but also want to do some light gravel. What an amazing ride. It’s not your chunky gravel bike but it just may be one of the best all road options out there.
Also my first electronic group and…wow! Incredibly smooth and fast shifts, especially with the eagle firmware update.
