Majority of bmx frames are made in Taiwan. Nothing wrong with that, those factories have state of the art equipment to handle mass production.
Usa frames these days are limited to pretty much just s&m and maybe standard if they still make non custom frames.
I cracked usa made frames and I cracked taiwan made frames, usa made ones cost at least double.
These days you’re just buying into a brand image more than anything else.

Most people are not breaking a frame no matter where it was made

I feel like full on factory production is always going to result in a drop in QC, but the odds of that drop affecting you specifically are slim, providing the company is actually worth a shit in the first place.
In the past decade or two I’ve ridden foreign frames from Sunday, Bone Deth, Cult, and Terrible One. I’ve ridden American frames from FBM, S&M, Standard, and a PDC from Spooky Dave. None gave me any trouble. The only one I had to scrap was the Bone Deth because it got hit by a car.

Taiwanese quality has long since sorted it out over 20 years ago, they can offer manufacturing techniques that aren’t easily possible for USA made, like invest cast, post heat treat, hydro formed and custom tubesets and internal gusseting.
The comparison is kinda, Taiwanese is the Japanese hot hatch vs the USA muscle car where it’s all a bit more basic but the tube quality is high and they have maybe a longer lifespan overall.
Anything else here is just the usual noise of USA is better, which isn’t necessarily true anymore and hasn’t been for decades.
Ride what you want, support the brands you want.
