For context I just started cycling about 3 weeks ago. Someone loaned me a big for a group ride at our base and I loved it so much I went out and bought my own. I did the longest ride so far yesterday(see photos). It was to separate rides but same day, their and back. My question is where do I stand, am I average, good, bad? 26M

I don’t know any cyclists so I can’t tell if im starting strong or starting from the bottom. Either is okay, but I’d like to know my level at least.

Average moving speed would be more like 15-16mph. Still great that you’re out and doing it, and your distance is pretty good for a complete beginner. Everyone starts somewhere. You keep at it and you’ll be several mph faster within a year. It’s very gratifying to see those numbers go up. Also that average speed can be affected a lot by traffic stops.

On a side note, please look into the different versions of “to, two, and too” as well as “there, their, and they’re”. It will make a large difference in how people will perceive the wisdom of your thoughts in business emails someday. Not saying this to be a dick. Just trying to help. I know it might have been voice to text that wasn’t proofread before posting.
