Curious if everybody nows what this piece is for and how it makes your everyday use so much easier. I don’t now any other bike that has this functionality also. Together with the shopping cart mode this also makes a brompton so nice to use.

I don’t use it as the max height of the standard seat post is perfect for me, so it sits in the box of Brompton bits (manual, etc).
