I was gonna buy this for my profile cranks (19mm) and realized he had 22 in the shop, does anyone knownof the adapter is removable because he said it isn't and I'm just curious if it actually is.

Don’t run a splined sprocket myself but I would believe the shop man.
I’ve seen a few sprockets that must be used with an adapter but it isn’t the norm.
