Suck it mods.
I ride tech, mostly enduro/DH but some XC in the winter.
My Druid V2 is 36lbs with a vivid coil and 160mm zeb. It’s my trail/enduro bike, but I can take it on almost anything I ride. There’s just less room for error.
My stumpjumper evo is 38lbs with a vivid coil and 170mm zeb. I reserve it for double black DH, shuttling and park.
I ride mostly flow and high speed tech and chunk in loose over hardpack desert conditions.

Haven’t weighed it but it’s a size large alloy Knolly Chilcotin with a coil shock, Öhlins 38 fork, DH casing tires… a heavy duty build. My guess is it weighs around 17-18kgs, or 38-40lbs.
Pfayze on
It’s about 42lbs with all the gear + water. Ride everything available from flowy XC (less fun), to long pedals and rowdy descents. Mix in bike park days. It’s a full Enduro rig 180/180 with mullet wheels.
Only “complaint” is that I’m just slower than when I was on a lighter bike. Even with more biking this year, I’m still quite a bit slower than when I rode a bike 7lbs lighter.

Probably around 60 pounds but it’s a size L aluminum eMTB 29er with a coil fork. Fun as hell and I love riding it though!
EDIT: Adding type of trails I ride which is a lot of PNW tech and any flow I can find. I ride Raging River and Tiger Mountain a decent amount and get out to Galbraith in Bellingham when I can.
My commencal is about 35, my Megatower is about 40

39 lbs?!? Too heavy for me. I went from a 2016 Hightower that was 29 lbs to a ‘24 Trek Fuel EX Al that was about 38 lbs. swapped out frame to ‘23 Ripmo carbon and back down to around 32 lbs. I don’t like that bikes are getting so heavy

34 Lbs – 2021 Stumpjumper Alloy with everything upgraded except for the frame, stem, and dropper post. 138/150, Lyrik, and Reserve HDs. I’m planning on swapping the frame to a carbon frame soon, when I see a frame I like.
I rode mostly around Front Range in CO and Summit county, CO. Lots of climbs. Gotta earn the vert

Trek Top Fuel 33lb. I ride XXL bikes. Makes life really hard getting under 30lb unless you spend a A LOT of money. I used to have XL Chisel HT that was pretty well built to 9s and that was like 24.5. That was a fun bike but just too small for me to keep. My back was not happy being scrunched up on that thing.

Light enough to pedal a bunch and heavy enough to last. Idk, maybe 34-37ish? After some time on a given setup I feel like it doesn’t matter. I can slap on the slowest heaviest tires, or short cranks , or a lower engagement hub, and after a month or two it’s just normal. Unless you’re chasing podiums it’s all good, go ride. The exceptions for me are suspension performance, tire grip, and brake feel. Those always make a difference.
I’m sure there’s a point where bike weight would be a big deal for me. But I don’t think it exists from mid range and up.

32 pounds. Of course, at six-foot-six and 265 pounds, that’s proportionately the same as a 180 pound rider on a 22-pound bike…
