Finally joined the Seigla gang! Took off everything from my old bike and slammed it onto this frame. Tested it out with 2.25” Maxxis Aspen STs and 50mm Ramblers. I am completely sold on 2.25” MTB tires for gravel especially for the chunk we see out in West UT. This thing just floats over it all.

I could use recs for any 50mm+ tires for mixed pavement/gravel/singletrack thats generally long lasting but not too slow. The Ramblers were pretty boggy but the Aspen ST tread is very soft and will probably wear quickly. For now, im gonna use the STs until theyre bald and have a full slick 2.25.

  1. I probably have about 3500 miles on my Pathfinder Pros in 47mm. They measure about 2″ on my Hunt CGR 40s. I think they’re a good all-rounder tire and they wear very slowly in my experience. The rear tire is only just now starting to look like it might need to be replaced and the front tire still has life in it.

  2. Looks good! I think I may be adding a Seigla with MTB tires soon (OK, I already bought the tires, just need to convince my wife on the bike…)
