I didn’t even notice the bars because I was so hung up on what’s happening with your chain.

Flat bars are completely fine for gravel riding. Whoever says otherwise is an elitist.

What’s with the flaccid chain tho

Mixed feelings. If someone tells me they want/ride a “gravel bike” then I expect it to have drop bars. Not being a snob or elitist or anything, it’s just how I categorize them mentally. But that bike is absolutely as capable on gravel as anything with a drop bar. The problem isn’t your bike, the problem is how “gravel bike” has been marketed.
Looks good, but as someone else has noticed, your chain needs some viagra.

You do you. I prefer a drop bar, but your bike isn’t mine.

And people say dumb things all the time. Just go ride the hell out of that rig.

You can finish this argument while they’re on the chiropractor’s table.

unless you are racing, flat bars are the way to go. especially on technical descents. much better than curved bars.

Every bike is a gravel bike.
