Cities shouldn’t rely on states for funding. States shouldn’t rely on the feds. In an ideal world, the feds would fund bike/pedestrian projects and transit. But in THIS world, cities are just setting themselves up for disappointment and inaction
This will be controversial but I’d say your best ally in office right now is RFK since he’s a pro active lifestyle type of person. Frustrating but Few things I do like about the current administration is I see a bit of more pro fitness mantra.
