As I posted before, I found this Norco frame in my condo parkade discarded. A project bike left to die: https://www.reddit.com/r/bicycling/s/u1QU6QNN93 . Well, I built it. I was going to build this for myself and keep it relatively vintage with a few modernisations, but once I got the wheels on it became apparent it was too big for me. So itโ€™ll now be a Xmas gift for my dad, who got me into cycling.

He didnโ€™t want drop bars, so I put modern riser bars on with an adjustable stem. Modern wheels. I drilled out the frame and put lugged brakes on. Modern shifter routed through the old down tube shifter mount using an adapter, and a 1×10 drivetrain, 11×42 cassette. A couple small red accents that tie in with the rainbow logo on the front.

Anyways, itโ€™s the first bike I ever built up and Iโ€™m pretty happy with the result so far. Given that winter has come early here, didnโ€™t get a chance to try it outside, but I will take it for a rip in my parkade at least. Cheers!

PS I know Iโ€™m missing the BB cap.
