Hello, I have been looking to get a bike as I used to have one when I was younger and enjoyed it. I wanted one that I could ride around the neighborhood and use on some light trails in my area. I don’t expect to be riding down the side of a mountain with my bike. I looked on marketplace and saw these options. A Giant Talon 4 for $380 and a Trek 8.3 DS for $275. Which would be the better option?

Do the Trek. It’s designed to be ridden on trails and around town. Make sure it’s in working order and that it fits you well.
What is going on with that seatpost on the Giant? You don’t need that.
Neither look around it’s very much a buyers market on used bikes I have not long bought 2016 Specialized stumpjumper expert for 260 and needed service which cost 135 great price
