Leaving Mġarr ix-Xini on the east side of the inlet, I climb a rocky off-road trail—eyes on the path to keep balance, while the camera treats you to cloud-filled skies and the Mġarr ix-Xini watchtower across the bay 🇲🇹. Built in 1661 by the Order of St John, the tower once guarded this secluded refuge and signalled to nearby forts. Heavy rock soundtrack, heavier terrain—pure Gozo MTB.
