Loved my B17 for the first 2,000 miles, but then the ol’ taint bridge formed and was super uncomfortable to ride. Took a pocket knife to it mid bike-packing trip and then cleaned it up a bit with a razor blade when I got home. Has about 3,000 miles with the mega cutout and doesn’t seem like it has negatively affected the structural integrity to any large degree.
