2003-ish GT Avalanche with disc brakes
Swapped the front suspension fork for a Toseek straight fork. Geometry is similar to stock since the tires are massive.
1×11 set-up with a Deore XT RD and Gevenalle road shifters. I think my gearing is 50-11 in the rear with a 42t chainring.
Elite Wheels 650b wheelset with Specialized ground control 2.1 & 2.3 tires.
I freakin’ love this bike. It’s so comfortable. It’s slow on the road, but it tackles hills, rough gravel, and singletrack like a boss.

This is super cool
Lovely. One of my favorite brands, for sure. I like your color coordination too.
Looks like a really successful conversion!

Happy to see more drop bar conversions recently
Damn that looks so nasty! I have my dad’s old Giant Iguana and the frame looks similar so I might have to steal some ideas from your bike.
are the wheels from Elite compatible with quick release or how does it work?
