does this travel hack work on European budget Airlines let’s find out the plastic bag travel hack it’s so genius yet so simple when flying budget Airlines you don’t actually have to pay for an extra carry-on bag you can get it free of charge if you do this trick some Airlines only allow one carry-on bag unless you pay an extra fee but I always wondered if it’s in a plastic trash looking like bag would they charge you for that we test it out make sure only one bag is visible in sight leave your plastic bag on a chair or somewhere near now here is your second layer of Defense dutyfree buy something there and get one of the large duty-free bags this is where the magic happens there’s no way they can charge you for a dutyfree bag or else who would ever buy dutyfree products right well that’s my thinking here at least before I try and get past the last line of defense the boarding gate well here’s the moment of truth than it worked we got it so there you go the plastic bag travel hack works of all the suitcase travel hacks this has to be the easiest one if you want to see more money-saving travel hack videos comment raincoat and I’ll share with you another foolproof technique

In JFK, they no longer giving bags with your purchase, if you buy something small. Maybe a paper bag but also not always

Not possible . Wizz air checks weight at the boarding gate where all your bags are weighed.
So someone else has their only carryon taken and checked because you took 2 spots. Don't be an ahole.
That works once you have passed checkin, but some airlines now weigh your checkin luggage at checkin.

I want to slap this guy, he needs it.
I purchased something in the duty free recently and they bagged it for me in the appropriate size bag for the item I got and sealed the bag before giving it to me. This "trick" is well outdated. This was in England travelling into Europe.
it does not always work as it depends on the people at the gate. Sometimes they ignore your real bag and will not check that, other times they will check and charge for your plastic bag as wekll as checking your other carry on bags./

When boarding a flight, every airline has announced, "Every passenger is allowed one personal item that fits under the seat and one carryon luggage for the overhead bins. If you have more than the required items in your possession, please combine and condense your belongings. If you can not do so, please see the employee at the counter to pay for an additional checked bag. Thank you."
