this is a proper basic hack for when you get flatty or you’re changing tires when you don’t have any Tire levers it can sometimes be unbelievably tight to get a tire back over the rim work the tire around with your thumbs keeping the tires wall in the deepest part of the rims well then lever over the tire with both hands with the wheel resting on your thighs like this it’s amazing how much easier this works on some stubborn tires pump it up and get ripping

I don't see the valve stem at any point. I see the whole in the rim for it though 🙂
This just finally clicked for me over the weekend after a friend demonstrated in person. The middle of the rim is deeper than the rest, so it's almost like fitting the tire on a slightly smaller wheel. The critical part is to keep the lips of both sides of the tire at the deepest part of the rim all the way around. My GP5000s went from impossible to mount with 2 levers to easily mountable with 0 levers.
or you can work the tire to the centre to get more slack
Doesn't work with tight tires.
Did not work on 700Cx38. I gave up
That tyre looked slack as hell 😂
IT ACTUALLY F ING WORKED. THANK YOU, YOU ARE A BLOODY LEGEND
Not a narrow frame
Im not convinced this is practical on tubeless rims with tubeless tyres. Maybe on non tubeless rim wirh non tubeless tyre . But its principle is sound, its really hard on current mtb setup
Tysm! Finally!
Thank you! So much easier!
Yea nah
That is NOT a tight tyre.
Not on MAXXIS 29”!
Worth carrying a tiny bottle of washing up liquid to lube outside of rim to facilitate this method.
That is a folding tires, that wont work on wired tires
This does not work on all tires lol
Bro sounds like Gordon Ramsay
That does not look tight at all 😅
Bs
Wow good hack does it work with fat tyre
Bicycles are fucking pathetic let's face it
Hahah try this with my tyre
It took me only 10 mins to fix the new tyre with tube
It’s not working
I need a step by step video on how to change the back tyre and wheel…
why is my tire like popping off the rim though im so confused
Brilliant, what a great hack thankyou 👍🏼
