No dropper on it so i just kept the saddle down 90% of the time-
Don't let anyone tell you you shouldn't get that silly bike u like "because of outdated geo"! Just slap some modern tires on there and they'll be amazing fun!
“oh but the geo is outdated” as if it wasn’t top of the line geo in the past, what do these people think will happen to their “new geo” in a few years

What does the rear suspension feel like? Looks… just bouncy.

Man, this build reminds me of my XC racing days in the 90’s. The local “pro” team in New England wiped the floor with everyone riding those Pro Flexes. Also… I saved up for months to get a set of those Magura breaks. Pretty sure I have them in a parts bin somewhere still.

How much was this thing back in 90? Just wondering. Still looks cool.

Still have my Proflex/ K2 960. Great bike! Used it in a 24hr race in the early 2000’s.
Don’t miss the V-brake screech though 🙂

Ahhh. Neon Yellow Maguras! What a time!
I built a lamp out of that fork once. I wish I had a picture.

Ahhh, the good old days of handlebars half as wide as they should be! Love the old proflex bikes always wanted one.

Remember them well, depending on the condition the elastomers would just flat out fail. I’ve seen one actually ooz. Great idea in theory at that time, but how they softened and melted over time was a nightmare.

I loved the 90s we just threw anything at the wall and saw what sticked.
