    Take some scotch brite to it? Looks like it may be a crack but it’s hard to say for certain without cleaning or sanding a bit. Either way I’d still ride them lol

  2. That’s definitely a crack. Mark it and check it regularly to see if it grows (it most likely will, but at least you can use your cranks for a bit longer).

    Or find someone who can weld aluminum.

    How old are those cranks?

  3. Your eyes are not lying. That’s a crack, exactly where they crack at the web between the crank and the trailing spider leg.

    On the plus side, you don’t see a lot of cranks breaking off from these cracks. The cracks can sit there harmlessly for years – unlike almost all other cracks on a bicycle.
