My neighbor was throwing this out. The exact same bike I had when I was 13. I grabbed it, stripped it and replaced everything that needed replacing with something cool. I’ve since put the front derailer back on. Considered refinishing the frame but decided that I liked the patina that it had earned over the years. Don’t think I have the chops to convert to a 1x but it’s definitely a work in process.. . Any suggestions??. It’s definitely fun to romp around the neighborhood on!

Blue seat, blue pedals, a rear rack or front basket. Yes, this is an xbike.
Bonus points for blue Comp III skin wall tires.
90s steel 26er, blue tires and cable housing…tough call, might have to consult the manual on this one.
