I’m upgrading my Endurace CF7 (2024) to Di2. This part came loose when I removed the two screws at the bottom of the bottom bracket, where the battery is supposed to be mounted. Does anyone know what this part is and what it’s for?

By the way, there’s some black tape around the part, which I accidentally damaged a bit with the screwdriver.
