Looks like threads are stripped. Left pedal and right pedal installed on correct sides. Anything that could be done or corrected? Or do replacement parts need to be installed?

Looks like replacements are in order, pedal and crank arm.
You might be able to clean out the threads in the pedal, those crank threads are cooked.
You can be able to helicoil it, otherwise replace the crank. At my shop a helicoil and install runs around $40, a new left arm runs you around $20.
Just the non- drive side, unless the drive side is affected, as well. Just get a matching crank arm and a new set of pedals. You might think of a pedal upgrade.
Time fer some new cranks.
