I’ve finally joined the dark side. After about a year of road cycling. I finally bought a fixie. “How hard/ different can it really be?” I kept seeing all these videos on TikTok of fixies feelin superior, “more in tune” with their bike so eventually I found a cheap steel fixed gear bike for 30 bucks. Not gonna lie, I love and hate it so far. I have a lot of hills near me but after about two weeks of non stop fixed gear riding. I don’t even notice the hills. It feels like a slight incline. I figured this can be my trainer for the regular specialized bikes. I swapped the saddle from this 90’s Japanese bike I was going to donate. The stitching really brings in the bike. Have you guys heard of the Shwinn Madison?
