I got this 86 Stumpjumper Sport as a bunch of parts for 50$, and my goal was to build a single speed rain bike with parts I had on-hand.
The frame is pretty hammered. The drive-side dropout was replaced at one point. The fork is from a larger frame so I used a combination of threadless and threaded headset parts to make it work.
Thanks for the swept bar suggestions from fellow xbikers. I really like the way this rides!

Great job on the headset bodge to make the fork work. This looks so good with the black and tan, and the single speed drive train should be amazing in the rain. My only question; a rainbike with no fenders?
Which bars did you go with? Albastache?
My dear electro friend – how do you like your lever setup? Can you give me your assessment of how it rides practicality wise? I want to run it as well on another build and was curious if there are any quirks or what the general consensus is
