Is there anything that can be done to use the bolt holes on the seat stays above the caliper brake on the red bike? Ideally using the rack from the blue bike, but the stays on that rack are tubular so no bending of them possible.
I might try flipping them so the angle of approach is from under.

You can replace the seatpost collar with one that adds bolt mounting points.

Just use the right eyelet and not the left one. You do not need two struts for a rack.
