I’ve only ridden about 30 km on this bike, but I’m experiencing several issues. Shifting doesn’t work properly on some gears, and sometimes the chain shifts down on its own. There’s also a persistent ticking sound coming from the drivetrain.

I’ve had two bikes new from shop with same issue. Adjusted indexing.
check the shift cable and make sure it not like the blue line drew in the photo, locked the cable upside down will change the pull ratio. and it’s a common mistake

The upper pulley wheel looks too close to the cassette. This Park Tool video should help: https://youtu.be/y3x13dD0UiQ?si=hmlshwNhwnNSpqhc
Check limit screws, B screw and if the hanger is slightly bent.
If its new Go back to the shop. If you got it via mail and assembled it yourself try indexing with the help of a YouTube video. If that doesn’t work out it might be a bent derailleur hanger (most common symptom of this is that the bike shifts well down and not up or vice versa). Visually inspect the hanger, it should be parallel with the drop out (where the wheel axle meets the frame)
