Is Lifseek worth visiting? Let me tell you, the first thing I noticed is that Leipsek is a very green city. A lot of parks and just trees in general. I didn’t expect it. For some reason, I thought it would be all gray and somber. My favorite part of Leapse was the Holocaust Memorial. It’s very beautiful in my opinion. I also really liked Nikolai Khov. It’s a tiny square near the St. Nicholas Church. It has a very, very cool water feature. Maklat is where the most people are. I don’t like big crowds, so this square is not for me. The old town hall looks cool, though. There are also some other random buildings near the square that are stunning, like the Kass Bank building for instance. It was raining all day in Labseek, so that always has an influence on how you view a city. I took a bus for almost 4 hours to get there, and I arrived near the train station. The area near the train station feels very sketchy. I had a similar feeling when I arrived by train in Frankfurt. A lot of bombs, alcoholics, just troubled people. That seems to be a common thing near train station all over the world. Unfortunately, for that reason, my feelings towards lives started very negative. But it turned around when I walked around in the city. For some reason, I expected LISK to be worse than it was. Maybe because of the communist history in East Germany. Although it’s a long time ago, you still hear stories about the differences between West and East Germany. So, is Lipseek worth a visit? In my opinion, this city is good for a day trip, but I wouldn’t recommend staying here for a few days or even longer.
