Been about 4 years since ive even been on a bike, decided to not f around and spend a couple dollars, i used to live and breathe bmx for about 8 years straight until covid started and my adult life decided to take over π but here i am again does anybody know how S&m warranty works on frames that arent in production anymore? Do they remake the exact frame you originally purchased or do they replace it with an updated equivalent? (Nothings broken just curious) π€

s&m is fantastic. iβve never had a bad part from them
Looks great.
Not the same but a buddy broke a wtp frame that was no longer being made and they had him pick out any current frame they offered.
I would assume s&m would do the same
S&M will replace your frame with an equivalent version. Technically it’s lifetime warranty to original purchaser, but they generally back up all their products if you break it.
Nice build. Actually just met Chris mad dog at meh local shop ( Unity Ride shop in Phx, AZ ) just the other day. Really cool dude.
Sheβs a beaut!
My current build has a lot of S&M parts such as the frame, fork, stem and bars. First time riding with more than just a stem from the brand and I’ve been satisfied.
Always had admiration for the company since riding in the mid school era and glad Chris has kept it running for all this time. If I ever swap out the frame or build another bike, I’ll probably buy another S&M.
Brown accents look good. I have a raw frame with all black parts. I bought as much S&M stuff as I could. Top tier stuff.
S&M are the absolute best in the game and have been for a very long time. Look at their history, they are the real og for a reason. Ask around about their quality and customer service. They stand behind what they make. It’s been a long time since I have but, you could email Chris about anything and he would answer.
Iβve snapped a top tube where it connects with the head tube. I was doing some pretty big gaps to flat in highschool so Iβm honestly really appreciative that the frame didnβt break catastrophically on a big jump. I also dented a double walled rim by Odyssey. S&M make really good if not the best frames and parts. My new frame (second ATF) has been great and I still ride it years later
