Came across a fun project bike but have never seen these brakes before. Just wondering your thoughts on if they are still worth having around? The frame might be cooked so I was thinking about ripping these off and putting them on another project. I am new to vintage mountain bikes.

Absolutely worth having around. Some of the coolest brakes ever imo. Magura still sells these new but I think it’s an updated model.

A friend of mine rides those on a bike he calls „wheelie machine“ because the brakes are very tactile
These brakes scream “I’m dope, and I do dope shit”. They are sweet.
