No so much of a pro tip… as the pros might frown upon this. But for those that don't really care about buying the most expensive grease and equipment and like long maintenance intervals, or have bikes that live outside.

I'm sure some of you have a strong oppinion against it. But, 've been using this stuff for years on head tubes, bearings, axles, and metal bushings. I've owned the same tube for probably 10 years.

    That is conventional. Santa cruz recommends marine grease which comes in tubes like this. 

  2. I took 2 big pot off grease we use for our tanks in the army, looks, smell and maybe taste the same as the green motorex grease from the bike shop, works perfect
