This is gonna be my first bike, don't know what to look for. So, looked up some local store and sorted to these two. Prices are based on Australia.
Can you guys recommend which one or any other else on similar price range?

If you’re based in Au, go in store to 99 bikes. They will give great friendly service and spec check against the Trek.
At this price range, the components are going to be very similar, and quite frankly your skill level isn’t going to be high enough to tell the difference between the performance of each. Best is to test ride both bikes and choose whichever one feels best. If it feels good, you’ll ride it. Ideally go test ride at a place that has both so you can ride back to back.
