Hello fellow Canyon enthusiasts!

I would love some advice please on how to neaten the cables on my Grizl. I came across this photo of a Grizl being sold, and I noticed that they have switched the rear brake cable hose from entering the frame on non drive side, to the opposite side.

This looks way neater in my opinion (not sure why Canyon didn’t do this but I digress). You could also put some heat shrink tubing around the cables for extra neatness.

What would be the easiest way to complete this operation? I would definitely like to avoid having to bleed the brakes if possible!

Thanks in advance for your help!

The bike in the picture is setup for a left hand side traffic country. Front brake is on the right.

Super confusing imo. You shift the front with the left so braking for the front should also be left??

  2. I what way is it neater?

You still have cables going in both sides of the frame. That picture is most likely from the UK where they have the front brake on the right lever. If you have the rear brake on your right lever, you can´t have it enter the frame on the drive side as it would mess with turning and slack in the hose.

  3. You could simply connect the front brake the the right shifter and rear to left and change the grommits but tbh… It you’re used to front/left rear/right this is confusing as heck. If you realy like to clean your cockpit go [1by](https://ibb.co/GCR2PfR) /s
