Is the change in derailleur, brakes, and wheels worth the change to a boost fork? Is there a superior choice at the same price point?
I'm just looking to mostly ride some green with my daughter and occasional blue with my Dad in the Midwest. Won't be doing any upgrades anytime soon.

Personally I’d rather have Deore than Cues. Better compatibility with higher end stuff. You can upgrade as parts wear out. Everything else it effectively identical
D7 se is slightly nicer. Save for the fork. That miiight be viewed as worse??
I know the rear shock and drivetrain are nicer for sure
No, I don’t think so. The fork is what’s most limiting and can feel kike a pogo stick. But if you’re only doing greens and cross country type trails you should be fine.
Boost is nice if/when you upgrade. If you go non boost and upgrade the fork, you’ll have to run spacers to use your front wheel is all.
Get the bike for the riding you’re going to do. I do more aggressive downhill and single track trails, and the D7 travel for me ended up being too limiting.
