  1. Like the above poster said adjustable wrench or Google rotor truing fork. It’s great to have in your tool box.

In the words of Whitney, it’s not right but it’s okay: Rotors easily get bent but can be straightened, either with a dedicated tool or an adjustable wrench set to the width of it.

    It will not fix itself.

Yes, we’ve pulled bikes with warped rotors out of the box from all manufacturers at all levels. Some much worse than that.

Easy enough to fix at home with an adjustable wrench and a bit of pressure. You could have a shop do it, but it’s literally a one minute fix at home.

if you true the disk, it’s likely to bent by itself very soon. so just leave it

  5. Not sure what video the other commenters are watching. This is not a rotor issue. The fact that it creeps left as it slows points to the hub being loose, so the whole hub is moving on the axle.

You sure it is bent? Did you adjust the brake? Try clamping the QR skewer (?) with different forces? Doesn’t sound unfixable to me.

It’s normal. Not right but normal. New rotors could be bend or slightly distortion when it shipping. Just correction it

Just wait until you warp one on a scorching descent. Rotors were invented to slowly drive us mad.

  9. Check to make sure it’s securely attached to the wheel (and not cross threaded). If that’s good, true it.

  10. The way that it’s smoothly proceeding indicates that it’s round but tilted which is very odd since normally if a rotor gets warped it’s bent in one specific spot and it’s a very uneven wiggle

this looks like something about the hub is wrong, either it’s crooked due to loose bearings or what not or it could be the hub face plate had some dirt or something keeping them from mating properly

  11. Here comes all the people telling you that it is acceptable for that to wobble just like a cassette. No. Not normal. Will it matter…. No
