This was one of my first bikes when I got into MTB. I remember it being heavy af, terrible on the climbs, and I’ll never forget that ridiculous seatpost design (gotta be careful lowering it so as not to touch the shock). It has dated geometry, if parts haven’t been updated then also dated spec, but if it’s in good shape and has been maintained then it should be able to handle a proper beating. When I had one I never felt comfortable hitting jumps on it but it gobbled up roots and rocks on the shore like no other at it’s prime.
Good buy if it’s being bought as a low cost/low risk intro to the sport.

What currency is that? That can make a massive difference.

Offer 500. I sold a Shore 2 for 1000 CAD in 2015.

Maybe for a 2017, but not for that age. It’s maybe $500 unfortunately. If you don’t buy you’ll see it sit a while.
