Bad idea. Standing horizontally with your legs is horrible for stability, when you brake hard you need to pull back so you do not fly over the handlebars, so a safer scooter would have you leaning backwards and with the normal scooter pose (one leg in front of another), I understand this feels comfortable but it is dangerous..

It’s a great scooter however the brakes are terrible, front wheel only brakes are a disaster waiting to happen. I own an advanced flex and am speaking from experience. 4 days in hospital.

Legal?
I've bought three pure scooters they are great machines but the last one lasted just 7 days! Why?
The police stopped my grandson who was riding to work at 7 pm they not only confiscated it but gave him a fixed penalty fine of £300 & 6 x penalty points on his license!
The government have pushed back any decision to May 2028! So don't bother buying one until the idiots can make these legal!
