I have now owned my second hand M3L for a couple of months. It’s the least used of the three bikes, but it is by far the funniest! Here a few pictures, from where the first two are from today.
Besides the initial intended purpose of joining le a the train buses when my local train line was being renovated, I used it to travel with regional trains or local trains when my colleagues and I have visited clients in the car (bike in the trunk).
Had a single flat on brand new Continental Urbans – obviously the day where I look the train to a different part of the country (DK) to do a presentation. Called a taxi, drove to the venue to do my job, taxi to the nearest LBS, bought a tube, replace the tube and biked to the train station. Easy 😅.
I received the bag this week and rolled to Copenhagen centre to do some political campaigning (municipality elections) – handing flyers out to bike riders i Copenhagen during rushhour.
Afterwards I cruised around Copenhagen being a tourist in my own town. Enjoyed the sun, had coffee and smiled like a kid on my 16 inch folder!

Raw lacquer is to me the nicest Brompton finish.
Can I ask you which bag do you use here ?
A _rear_ flat too! It’s a bit of a faff to change the rear tube, since the entire chain tensioner/derailleur needs to be removed. I’ve done it when touring, but would have been a bit flustered if I had to do it on a busy day like that!
Since you’re in Copenhagen, how do you handle the rain? I’ve read that a lot of Danes use rain pants and jackets but wondering what you find best? It doesn’t rain much where I live, haven’t found a great solution yet.
By the way, that bag is lovely! And love the raw lacquer color; I bought current closest version, an eC-12 black lacquer (espresso really!)
